New Year, New Me?

Alright, settle in, because we’re about to get real.

If you’ve been around a while, you’ve probably noticed the silence here on my blog as of late. Then, as of 2025, you may have noticed that all my meticulously crafted, keyword-optimized masterpieces have suddenly vanished. What gives?

The truth is, that style of blog on BrittKascjak.com is officially a thing of the past.

Yes, I know. “But Britt,” I picture you saying while clutching your pearls, “how will you ever demonstrate your incredible SEO skills and freelance writing talents without a proper blog??  How can you POSSIBLY market yourself without including blog content on a writing website??

Let me tell you a secret: I’m tired. Tired of chasing the ever-shifting goalposts on a blog that was never originally written to be a traffic-driving website anyway. Tired of pretending I have all the time in the world to keep writing the content needed for everywhere that I’m currently active. And frankly, tired of the pressure to be perfect.

The internet is already overflowing with perfectly polished, painstakingly optimized content.

Besides, I’m already busy writing and sharing my tips and tricks in the marketing space on other sites. If you’re looking for carefully optimized and professionally written content, you can check out my latest posts on BlogPaws. Why add more to my plate by constantly trying to duplicate those efforts?

So, here’s the deal: this blog is morphing. It’s evolving. Or, if I’m being brutally honest, it’s devolving. You’re no longer going to see the carefully crafted, SEO-friendly blog posts that you will see me publishing in other spaces online.

Instead, you’re going to get… this. My brain, unfiltered, spilling out onto the digital page.

Think of it as a train of thought, but the train is constantly running late and occasionally derails. (As my friend and business partner Chloe always says, set reasonable expectations…)

I’m still going to be talking about content marketing and SEO because, let’s face it, I can’t quit it entirely… I’ll even dig into the latest Google updates that make me want to throw my laptop out a window and the newest AI developments that make me question the human race and their tolerance for poorly written word salad assembled by robots that clearly skipped English class and apparently think “content” means regurgitating Wikipedia with a thesaurus chaser and a health dose of incorrect “facts.”

Will it be organized? Probably not.

Will it be optimized? Absolutely not.

Will it be entertaining? I’d like to think so…

Will it be useful? Well, that depends on your definition of “useful.” If “useful” means getting a glimpse into the unfiltered mind of a content creator and SEO consultant who’s finally decided to embrace the chaos, then yes, absolutely.

Consider this your invitation to join me in the digital living room, where the coffee is strong, the opinions are stronger, and the only rule is that we keep it real.
